Wonder Why NH Taxes Are So High?
Free Staters and their Liberty Alliance legislators, masking as Republicans, have refused to pay the state’s share of pension funding and the Supreme-Court ruled share of per pupil school costs for over a decade. They cut business taxes four times and repealed the wealth tax on interest and dividends. All that means that town property taxes have to make up the difference for state cuts. And landlords have to raise rents to pay the property taxes.
