When a bill goes before a NH House or NH Senate Committee, the public has an opportunity to express their support or opposition.  This can be done online or by testifying in person.​

Submitting your support or opposition online is EASY and just takes a few moments.

For NH Senate Committee Hearings:

• Click here to go to the remote testimony page for state senate committees.

• Select the date of the hearing, the committee, and the bill (these are listed in order of hearing start time).

• Select whether you are a member of the public, lobbyist, elected official, etc.

• Select whether you support or oppose the bill.

• Click continue to go to the next page and fill in your personal information (name and town)

• Click continue to review your selections.

• Read the disclaimer and check the box confirming what you have entered is truthful.

• Click continue one last time, and you're done!​

For NH House Committee Hearings:

• Click here to go to the remote testimony page for state house committees.

• Fill in your personal information (name, town, and email)

• Select the date of the hearing, the committee, and the bill (these are listed in order of hearing start time).

• Select whether you are a member of the public, lobbyist, elected official, etc.

• Select whether you support or oppose the bill.

• If you would like to add your thoughts, there is a testimony text box for that.  This is not required, but may help sway legislators on the committee.

• Click submit to review your selections.

• Click submit on the pop-up box that shows a summary of what you entered, and you're done!

 

When submitting online testimony, the form accepts input through the end of the day of each bill’s public hearing. Input must be submitted online by 11:59 PM on the day of the bill’s hearing, although it is recommended to submit the day before as a bill can now move on to the Executive Committee stage with very short notice, including the same day as the Public Hearing.
