Come march in the parade then visit us in our booth at Hollis Old Home Days! Everyone loves our Grassroots Root Beer, Blue Wave Raspberry Pop, and of course, Dem Tacos!

About the event
Hollis Old Home Days will take place on Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th. This is the biggest visibility event of the year, so we are pulling out all the stops! This year, the taco cart (courtesy of Tipos Tacos in Ayer, MA) will be on the field on Friday afternoon/evening, and on Saturday, the Hollis Dems will be marching in the parade, and we have a QUADRUPLE size booth with lots of great activities planned:
- Kids’ area with voting booth (candidates TBD; previous years have been Mickey Mouse v. Donald Duck, Black Panther v. Wonder Woman), tractor photo cutout, patriotic temporary tattoos; stickers to show the first year they can vote for real; and a community building board
- Building a community word cloud
- Food for sale, including tacos and Hollis Dems’ famous hand-crafted Grassroots Root Beer; and
- A candidate meet-and-greet area. We're inviting all local and presidential candidates and organizers to join us for a day of fun in the sun, interacting with Hollis voters.
