At our July meeting, we will be taking a comprehensive look at school funding in New Hampshire with Ben Ming, candidate for Hollis State Representative. The way we pay for schools in New Hampshire, and the choices being made by our legislators have a direct impact on our property taxes, a concern shared by residents of all political stripes. The State’s school voucher program is the most visible piece of the education funding puzzle, but its history, its price tag, and its proponents plans for it are only the tip of the iceberg.
