Question 2 will harm public schools. When required school costs rise quicker than the budget, districts are forced to cut from the only areas left - sports, bus routes, art and music, AP classes, clubs and extracurriculars, classroom supplies, and teaching positions. That means fewer opportunities for students to follow their passions and succeed.
The same people who want to lower academic standards, ban books, promote private school voucher schemes, and even eliminate public schools are the ones telling you to vote for this measure because they don’t support public schools and want to defund them.
